The Peace Pentagon:
A Retreat and Conference Center
In the Appalachian Mountains of Virginia overlooking the very ancient New River, rests the Peace Pentagon – the centerpiece of the Oracle Institute Campus.
This 8,000 sq. ft., state-of-the-art facility was designed to host inspirational and strategic gatherings like the Building the New World conference, which featured futurist Barbara Marx Hubbard and Charles Eisenstein.
The Peace Pentagon contains classrooms, a library, coffee shop, dining hall, and a two-story, multi-faith sanctuary dedicated to the five primary religions.
A Campus Dedicated to Sacred Activism
Good friend Barbara Marx Hubbard nicknamed the Oracle Campus Camp Eve. Just as Heads of State meet at Camp David to work on Old World problems behind closed doors, Camp Eve provides a safe, holistic environment where Heads of Sectors can privately brainstorm on the best progressive strategies to build the New World. The Peace Pentagon also is a training center for young social activists, to help prepare them for leadership roles during the next stage of our collective journey toward a Paradigm of Peace.
Peace Pentagon Construction Progress
The Peace Pentagon is being built to rigorous European Passivhaus® standards with geothermal and solar elements, resulting in an extremely low carbon footprint. In June 2012, Oracle broke ground on the Peace Pentagon with the 100 Shovels Ceremony. As of February 2017, the exterior of the Peace Pentagon is complete, while the interior is still under construction.
