Intentional Community Economics

For this timely and relevant session on intentional community economics, we will be joined by Gwendolyn Hallsmith — ecovillage founder, published author and community economics expert. Gwendolyn has worked with communities all over the world to foster caring communities, local economies, good governance, efficient services and healthy ecosystems. Now she shares her insight for intentional community dreamers, seekers and builders about how we can create local economies that work for everyone.

These times of emergency shutdown measures can be challenging everyone, including communities who depend on outside income from community members to thrive.

During this session you will learn strategies for…
jumpstarting local economies,
designing economic systems into the founding documents for intentional communities,
income alternatives for community members, and
exchange mechanisms that can keep people meeting their basic needs even in hard times.
