Sector 9: Infrastructure & Resources

The Infrastructure & Resources Sector focuses on urban, suburban, and rural landscapes, homescapes, facilities, and byways. This Sector develops our neighborhoods and builds our homes, incorporating novel ideas like “tiny houses.” This Sector also designs and maintains the “Commons,” the open and public space we all enjoy. From an holistic standpoint, architects and engineers of the New World now consider the five classic elements during their design process: solar (fire); hydro (water); wind (air); geothermal (earth); and the needs/realities of the surrounding environment, including green, recycled, and affordable materials (spirit).
